"Education is the most powerful weapon which   you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela
Infants - (LARVA)

Infants and mobile toddlers learn best in environments where they can have secure relationships with caring and responsive adults, and where they feel safe and free to explore and learn. Our babies are made to feel safe, secure, and happy. This class gives warm, caring teachers an opportunity to bond and develop trust with little ones. Each child has a primary caregiver who will guide your child’s development and be your main point of contact.

Children will enjoy:

  • Warm, nurturing environment

  • Stimulating activities with educational toys

  • Researched based- milestone-based curriculum

  • Immersive learning

Our teachers use The Creative Curriculum® to guide your infants through discovering and understanding the world around them. Children are encouraged to learn through play and engaging, hands on experiences.

Sensory Stimulation Through Music And Language

Being exposed to music, language and creativity on a regular basis helps your baby’s body and mind work together while improving their socio-emotional and intellectual skills. We’re always singing, dancing and narrating fun stories to keep little ones engaged.

          Who Are These Toddlers?

The world revolves around them.  They are babies who are bosses, learning control but yet get confused by boundaries.  They want to be independent but yet keep an adult close in case they are afraid.  They like you only if you feed them.  They need security always and love when they chose you.  They are here to have fun and to exercise their independence and to show you how much they know.

Emergent uses The Creative Curriculum in our toddler program. This is a research-based curriculum that defines goals in four areas of development:

  • Social-Emotional: Helps children develop independence, self-confidence, and self- control, follow rules and routines, make friends, and learn what it means to be part of a group.

  • Physical: Increases children’s large muscle skills, such as balancing, running, jumping, throwing, and catching; and engages small muscles in their hands to do tasks, such as buttoning, stringing beads, cutting, drawing, and writing.

  • Cognitive: Develops critical thinking skills, such as the ability to solve problems, ask questions, and think logically (sorting, classifying, comparing, counting, and making patterns and to use materials and their imagination to show what they have learned).

  • Language: Uses words to communicate with others, listen to and participate in conversations with others, understand the purpose of print, recognize letters and words, and begin writing for a purpose. We accomplish our goals through the activities planned, thoughtful classroom arrangements, age appropriate selections of toys and materials, established routines, and interactions with children.

3-Year Old Preschool Class - (PUPA or CHRYSALIS)
                The Third Stage:  Pupa
The pupa stage is one of the coolest stages of a butterfly’s life.  As soon as a caterpillar is done growing and they have reached their full length/weight, they form themselves into a pupa, also known as a chrysalis.  From the outside of the pupa, it looks as if the caterpillar may just be resting, but the inside is where all of the action is.  Inside of the pupa, the caterpillar is rapidly changing.  Within the chrysalis the old body parts of the caterpillar are undergoing a remarkable transformation, called ‘metamorphosis,’ to become the beautiful parts that make up the butterfly that will emerge. Tissue, limbs and organs of a caterpillar have all been changed by the time the pupa is finished, and is now ready for the final stage of a butterfly’s life cycle.

Singing, dancing and artistic expression is incorporated into our weekly themes to allow your preschoolers’ creativity to flourish. These activities help them develop their five senses, practice balance and coordination and refine their fine motor skills!

Our teachers use principles from The Creative Curriculum® and STEAM to help your children develop critical thinking and learn at their own pace through play. They’ll build a solid foundation of language, pre-reading and math skills ahead of their entry to Kindergarten.

PREK- Kindergarten Class - (BUTTERFLY)

The adult Butterfly is the FOURTH and final stage of life cycle of a butterfly.

When a butterfly emerges from a chrysalis its wings are wet and wrinkled. The butterfly hangs with its wings down and starts pumping a liquid called HEMOLYMPH to their wings so that they become big and strong. After a few hours the butterfly became ready to take its first flight.

Your Child's Learning Starts With Relationships

We also believe families do best when they’re supported, trust us, and feel respected. These values lay a lasting foundation for delivering a joyful, quality of  early childhood education because learning starts with loving. We also teach your preschoolers the importance of patience, caring, sharing and kindness. They’ll learn how to take responsibility for their own actions while building their self help skills.
